How do I find a sale price from a discount?
Use calculator 3: enter the price as A and the discount as B; the decrease result is the sale price. Example: 50,000 with 20% off becomes 40,000.
How do I calculate percent increase?
(new value - old value) รท old value ร 100. For example, from 80 to 100 is (100 - 80) รท 80 ร 100 = a 25% increase.
If something rises 20% and then falls 20%, is it back to the start?
No. 100 rises 20% to 120, and 120 falling 20% gives 96, because the base changed.
Is what I enter stored on a server?
