What is the difference between with and without spaces?
Counting with spaces includes spaces and line breaks as characters. Counting without spaces leaves out spaces, line breaks and tabs. Check which one your form uses.
How are bytes counted?
The 'Korean 2-byte' method counts English letters, numbers and symbols as 1 byte and Korean characters as 2 bytes (the old EUC-KR method used by many Korean sites). The UTF-8 method counts Korean characters as 3 bytes.
How many characters does an emoji count as?
One emoji counts as one character. Its byte size depends on the method used.
Is what I enter stored on a server?
