Passwords are generated with your browser's secure random number generator. They appear only on your screen and are never sent or stored anywhere. The longer the password and the more kinds of characters it has, the stronger it is. Use a different password for every account and keep them in a password manager.

Is this password safe to use?
Passwords are drawn with the browser's cryptographically secure generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so they cannot be predicted, and they are never transmitted.
How long should a password be?
Use at least 16 characters for ordinary accounts and 20 or more for important ones such as email and banking. Longer is stronger.
What does 'exclude look-alike characters' do?
It removes characters that are easy to confuse, such as I, l, 1, O, 0 and o, which helps if you have to copy a password by hand.
Where should I keep generated passwords?
In a password manager. Avoid notes apps and chat messages.
